| I had my first encounter with The Basic Basement Company when I spoke to Kathy, Appointment Setter, who was cheerful, knowledgeable, and informative as she answered my questions regarding what was covered in the initial cost that was being advertised. I was pleasantly surprised at how much was covered. I made an appointment right away to meet with Eddie, their Design Consultant. Eddie arrived at my house promptly at 6:00 PM. He went over everything that would be done, gave me advice when I asked him what would he suggest when I was unsure of something. His advice wound up being invaluable. He shared his personal stories as did I and we talked for several hours after I signed the contract. It was such a pleasure meeting Eddie. My Project Coordinator, Gail, handled the scheduling of the contractors, orders, permits, and so much more. She was always available to answer my call or email if an issue came up. Her organizational skills are phenomenal! My Project Coordinator, John, was so helpful to me. He went above and beyond when I couldn’t get my basement door to align properly after reinstalling it and insisted on fixing it. I finally let him and learned some things along the way. He told me my basement was going to be beautiful but I couldn’t tell at that time. I also had the pleasure to meet Mike who filled in when John was on vacation and was a pleasure to talk with. All the teams were great, did excellent work, and came on time. The finished product of my basement took me by surprise. I never saw it coming! I had admired all the pictures of the remodels on the company’s website, but couldn’t see my basement looking as nice. For some reason, the space looks larger as well. John was right.
