| We just completed our basement finishing project and from the first call, I have been delighted with The Basic Basement Co.
They are the best contractors I have worked with. They were very clear on what the job would entail, and a transparent quote was provided the same day as a consultant visited. I was assigned a project manager and a scheduler, and the company filled out all of the necessary permit paperwork to make that stage easy with my local town. Once the permits were approved, a date was set, and again, the full timeline and stages were reviewed. They even managed to start the job 2 days earlier than planned and in a single day had the entire basement framed, and insulated. They have their own professionals on staff, so they are not reliant on subcontractors, and all stages were completed on time and on budget. They were extremely friendly, and observed all possible safety precautions while being in my home. Our town inspections (which they scheduled) were over in minutes with the town’s inspector saying “these guys always do great work”. A month after the job began, In the middle of a global pandemic, I have a fully finished basement. I would (and have already) recommended them. They made a major project easy and seamless.
