| The Basic Basement Co. finished our basement this summer and did a fantastic job. From start to finish, they had our interests in mind and never tried to upsell us on anything. It started with the design consultant, who visited our home and provided us a computer-generated layout based on measurements and observations made that day. He spent several hours with us and answered all our initial questions and concerns, all the way up until we signed our contract and scheduled our start date. The production manager was prompt and courteous when communicating with us throughout each phase of the project – framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall, tile, painting, and inspections. She was easy to get a hold of and very responsive. The project manager was awesome to work with and basically acted as our voice to the contractors – not that they were not courteous, but sometimes it is easy for a layperson to explain things to someone with more knowledge who can then communicate that to the workers. He regularly visited to check up on the progress and make sure things were on schedule. Lastly, all the contractors that The Basic Basement Co. uses were very professional, neat, and respectful of our property. They often finished ahead of their estimated timeframe – very dedicated workers. All in all, The Basic Basement Co. made an intimidating job for a homeowner a breeze, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a high-quality finished basement. The results speak for themselves!
